We have a growing contingent of young people at Mountain Shadows and are always expanding our programs to nurture them on their faith journeys. In addition to our Kids' Page on the website (coming soon!), there are a variety of programs and opportunities for our youngest members and friends. Here are just a few of them:

Nursery

We have a fully outfitted nursery on the campus of Mountain Shadows Church and a well-trained and nurturing staff to care for your infants during our worship services and special events.

Sunday School

Every Sunday, during the 10:00 a.m. worship service, children are invited to attend Mountain Shadows' one-room Sunday School. Dedicated and fun grown-ups of the congregation take turns teaching, and each Sunday, an additional, volunteer "floater" provides support for the nursery care attendant and/or Sunday School teacher, as needed. Kids who have visited our Sunday School for the first time have told their parents they want to return because they enjoy it so much.

Youth Group

Our youth group is just getting started so the kinds of activities they'll do is still being planned.  Whether you're a youth (13-17) or an adult, if you've got some ideas for what should happen in Youth Group, let Pastor Rachel know!

Special Outings and Events

Like most kids these days, Mountain Shadows kids and youth are busy people. To support them in their lives of faith, Church members help them organize all kinds of special events, from caving trips and mountain hikes, to taking leadership roles in regional and national youth conferences. They even particpate in video game nights and unicycle school!
